Voices of the World is a site where children's voices from everywhere reachable through the Internet can be heard. (I think that must be anywhere on planet Earth by now.) A wonderful experience to expand the learning horizons of the world's youth! Well organized and planned by Sharon Tonner, Primary ICT/International Co-ordinator at The High School of Dundee. Also the site to which (or is it to whom?) I owe the inspiration for starting this one, EFL classroom 2.0, which is simply amazing in it's breadth and scope of resources for EFL Teachers everywhere in the world. David Deubelbeiss http://eflclassroom.ning.com/profile/ddeubel (a fellow Canadian I'm proud to say) has endless energy and a wealth of talent he's willing to share.

All of us owe our beginnings to the site Classroom2.0 which is a great place to learn about social networking sites and for those interested in Web 2.0 and collaborative technologies in general education.

Talkabout Primary MFL is a site devoted to multi language education in the Primary grades. "An interactive network for those teaching (or considering teaching) foreign languages in Primary school." Great resources there as well.

I believe 10 years from now we will be even more grateful for the pioneering work they are doing because the complexity of the technological age that is progressing at breakneck speeds will either leave educators behind or able to stay on top of what it takes to prepare our charges for their futures. Sites like these make the latter option possible. Many thanks.
